Jennifer Keller, Research Biologist Education: Research Expertise and Interests:
Dr. Keller’s
research expertise focuses on environmental toxicology in marine and
estuarine habitats with an emphasis on protected species. She has expertise
in contaminant concentrations, potential adverse health effects of contaminants,
and conservation biology, particularly related to sea turtles. Her present
research goal is to expand the current knowledge of contaminant concentrations
in sea turtles and other marine/estuarine species, especially contaminants
of emerging concern, such as brominated flame retardants and perfluorinated
